I've been taking these pills for 3 days. I started (the first 2 days) just taking 1 pill before each meal. Today was my first day taking 2 pills before lunch. I dont have a speedy high, instead, i can tell my heart rate has increased and my appetite wasn't that big. I'm drinking just water now, but i did realize that when i took a pill with a soda (a week ago), I was really speeding. As long as i stick to water, i'm good! It's just the beginning, but i can post on here once a week or so to let you all see what it's like for someone's progress. *Jess

just stareted it this morning, and I gotta say, I'm feeling a bit nautious. Almost like morning sickness. I'm a guy so I know I'm not pregnant LOL. I'll keep trying it for a few days and see if the nausea stays. If it does then I'm gunna stop taking it

I stopped taking Akavar. It actually made me nauseous after a while and jittery. I started getting angry more often as well. Just thought i'd let you guys in on the update. Good luck!

Thanks for the update on your experience with Akavar 20/50, Jessica. I wanted to know if Akavar really works but it seems as if its really risky as I've read some other reviews about people having problems.

I just started taking akavar today. I took one pill in the morning and then had about a cup of beans and chips for breakfast beacause I was afraid of feeling nausea. About 20 min after I took it, I did start feeling a slight high, but nothing compared to other diet pills. Definitely not unpleasant, just a hike in my energy, which I could always use, but without any euphoria. A few hours later I did get a slight episode of nausea, and a very quick hot flash, but it all went away rather quickly. I am 34 years old and weigh 117 lbs, 5'4", so I am definitely not overweight, but I do want to loose about 5 to 7 pounds. It's already 6pm, and I don't think I will be taking another pill, since I can still feel the effects of the first one in my body. I did eat about 1/2 a chocolate bar, and drank some water, and am not really hungry, although I would like to eat something. The good thing is that because I don't get hungry, and I'm usually a sweet craver and a major starver (meaning I could eat all day long), I can make better decisions on healthier things to eat, rather than just eating cake or cookies. Right now I decided to make some low fat chili, which should last me for a couple of days, and has a lot of nutrients. So far I'm happy, but I'll report back in a few days.

I've been using this about a week, and so far I have lost 6 lbs. I do get some hot flashes, very high energy, but no jitters or elevated heartrate that I can tell. It definitely suppresses the appetite! Make sure to drink water, this stuff will give you cotton mouth BAD. Other than that, I have zero complaints and will continue to take it!

started takin this about a week and half ago it does give you alot of energy and really surpresses your appetite im 18, 5;6, and weighed 210lbs i did at one point in my life weigh 230lbs but then i cut real suger n non diet soda out and got down to 185lbs but i have depression which is wat mainly caused my weight gain in the first place and it went dorment for about 4 years then just came back to bight me in the ass and i started gaining weight again but now im on wellbutrin and anti anxiety pills and im back to a happier me but since im a little older now my metabolism slowed down and its used to not having real suger so i needed a little more umph so to speak to get up and move i cleaned for 3 hours the other day because it gave me so much energy aqnd the whole you can eat what you want is true because as long as you take this right you wont really want to eat as much and your guna want alot more water (do not drink soda it just gives you cotten mouth ten times worse). i weighed myself and im down to 207lbs and im happy with this product but i must advise anyone who is prowned to anxiety attacks to get meds for that before you start taking this cuse your heart will go crazy and give u anxiety attacks like crazy. beyond that i would def recommend this to anyone who wants to lose weight.

Akavar is amazing. I have lost 46lbs in 3 months. I have eaten all that I want and love it. I did feel a little nauseated the first 2 days but it has left now and I couldn't be happier.
